Student company Fortfull Group from Ogre Technical School has won the right to represent Latvia at the #GEN-E Europe competition in Italy.
The students have created a socially responsible product – an innovative wristwatch for the visually impaired and people with functional disabilities.
The watch has an SOS button with a recording function, a remote SOS button with a call option, GSM/GPS tracking and application, and other features.
The company’s track record of success includes several awards in JA Latvia trade fairs, the TechTrack program, and recognition on a national level.
This year more than 1,500 student companies were registered in Latvia, of which the top 20 were selected in the secondary school group and 11 in the primary school group to compete in the national finals.
